Additionally, there was a need to promote locally relevant content through subscription add-ons. To address these issues, our team was brought in to conduct user research and enhance the UI design. The aim was to make the Disney+ experience more dynamic, engaging, and region-specific.
The foundation of our work was meticulous user research. We conducted extensive surveys and interviews to gain deep insights into the interests, content preferences, and expectations of potential Disney+ subscribers in Brazil and Mexico. This research was instrumental in guiding our design decisions.
To tackle the issue of static subscription add-ons, we introduced a simple but engaging solution. We incorporated video backgrounds as trailers for various pages within the Disney+ interface. These videos provided potential subscribers with an instant and engaging preview of the content they would gain access to. This allowed users to make informed decisions without the need for extensive research.
